Every year, we welcome Lord Ganpati into our home. It all began when I was just 3 years old, I went with my nanny and got an idol(smallest one available) without even asking my parents. I still remember that particular one, it was pink with golden jewellery on it. Now, nearly 30 years later, we continue the tradition of bringing Bappa home. I am grateful for that spontaneous decision I made as a child, because these 10 days always feel like the most blessed days of the year.
